Met-Track Abseil Fall Arrest
A specialist height safety company approached Met-Track® after seeing a sample of Met-Track® and as experts in safety at height, knew of all available options but decided that ours would be more suitable to the building.
A joint visit to site was arranged to discuss with the developers the options available; how the system could be safely accessed and the number of users that would be using the system.
The developers were happy with our proposals and a system was quoted. Several drawings and various calculations were produced subsequently by our design team as the developers had raised concerns about how the brackets would be fixed to the cement structure. These issues were addressed, and we were delighted to receive the order.
The installed Met-Track® system is 30 metres in length with three 90º curves.
Stand off / cantilever brackets were produced to account for the cladding and build-up material.
