Solution
On board the vessel, there is a variety of equipment to aid their operations. Understanding the significant role that the equipment plays, Metreel designed and manufactured multiple Met-Track® drag chains for the vessel. The drag chains will carry vital services required for the massive lifting devices.
Inside the drag chains is a collection of special hoses and electrical cables supplying power, control, and instrumentation requirements to the port and starboard lifting beam ‘fingers,’ mounted on the vessel. Additionally, Metreel supplied and assembled bespoke low-expansion hoses.
