Overhead Cranes
Effortless and reliable overhead handling with Met-Track® Bridge Cranes
Ergonomic Operation
The Met-Track® system features enclosed track profiles. Ergonomically designed, the workstation bridge crane requires 1% of the load to move the suspended work piece; This is three times easier than traditional bridge cranes.
The steel track design is high-strength and low-weight and combines the running track profile with various reinforcements to increase the span distance. The V-shaped profile of the running track ensures the trolleys and end trucks align for dirt prevention inside the tracks. The machine wheels, with crown treads, and the precision of the sealed bearings allow for minimum rolling resistance and provide long operational life.

Overhead Cranes
Overhead cranes allow the precise lift and manoeuvre of heavy materials from one location to another using overhead movement. Each piece of equipment is configured in multiple sizes and engineered for a specific purpose or application. These cranes are frequently used to load and unload goods, transport materials around a facility, flip or pull dies, feed raw materials into machinery, and move pieces down an assembly line.
If you require a safe and efficient material handling solution, contact our crane experts with your enquiry. We collaborate closely with you and your team to ensure you get the best lifting solution for your business.
Overhead Gantry Cranes
An overhead gantry is like a bridge crane, except they use legs to support the bridge, trolley, and hoist. The legs move on rails embedded in place within a specific required location. The difference between a standard and an overhead gantry is the overhead crane offers a maximum lifting capacity with limitations to mobility and flexibility.

Modular Design
The modular design of the Met-Track® workstation bridge crane allows for easy relocation and expansion by adding runway sections and additional bridges. Floor-mounted systems can be installed on any normal 150mm reinforced concrete floor. For ceiling-mounted cranes, you must seek professional advice on whether your building structure can withstand the forces generated by the workstation system.
Floor-Mounted
Floor-mounted systems are not a permanent part of your building structure and can be easily extended or relocated to accommodate future changes in your facility. The installation is simple and does not apply stresses to the building roof structure.
Ceiling-Mounted
Ceiling-mount systems are ideal when floor space is limited or access by other equipment is required where floor support steels would be placed. Various mounting brackets are available to suit a range of facilities.
Plain Profile Cranes
The Met-Track® range of plain profile light cranes is ideal for locations where structural beams exist. Four profile sizes offer capacities up to 1000kg and can be mounted to almost any structure from the vast range of hangers available.
