Festoon Systems
Metreel’s cable and hose festoon systems accommodate a range of applications and are designed to travel along wire rope, enclosed tracks and ‘I’ beams. Guaranteed for an efficient operation, these products are versatile and offer endless configurations to suit your specific requirements.
Festoon systems provide energy and data to moving machinery using flat-form cables, round-form cables or flexible hoses to supply electrical currents, compressed air, gases or liquids. Suitable for all industries and environments, our systems can be custom designed to handle extreme conditions.
Met-Track® Enclosed Track Festoon
The Met-Track enclosed track festoons travel on a fixed track to efficiently provide a safe and economical power supply to cranes, hoists and other moving machinery. The festoons offer six different profiles, with payloads up to 450kg per metre.

ReadiBuild® Festoons
A popular service used by our customers across the globe is ReadiBuild®. ReadiBuild® is a pre-assembled festoon system service designed to reduce associated problems with installation on-site and is available for all festoons.
The systems are assembled via our expert team utilising the necessary cable measurements and cutting equipment. All systems are custom-packed and rolled directly onto the pre-installed track once received on-site.
BeamRider® estoons
Medium or heavy-duty cable trolleys is a prominent choice for applications that demand ultimate endurance. The BeamRider® range is ideal for high-speed container cranes, steelworks, rolling mills, large bridge cranes and offshore skid systems.
Manufactured from stock parts and assembled to your choice of cable or hose configurations, the BeamRider® meets your exact operational requirements. The design offers easy cable installation and access if a cable ever needs replacing in the event of accidental damage.
Catenary Wire Festoons
Pre-engineered kits take the mystery out of festoons. Each kit includes everything you need, including trolleys, wire rope and all fasteners – You will need to add cables or hoses.
Flexible Cable & Glands
Metreel offers a complete range of super-flexible cables for festoons, reeling drums, and drag chain applications. Primarily used in the material handling sector, this range offers a selection of flat-form, round-form and pendant suspension cables in PVC, PUR and EPR materials. Screened cables typically suit EMC requirements and form part of our standard range. A complete range of cable fittings and plug or socket connectors are also available.
