Part one of a Double Nested MET-TRAK™ Cable & Hose Drag Chain system is currently being built in Workshop 1 and will shortly undergo the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) that will be witnessed by our client, a leading global supplier of Offshore drilling equipment.
The fully assembled MET-TRAK™ system will leave Metreel for it’s final destination Newfoundland, Canada complete with pre-installed cables and hoses that are accurately placed within to protect expansions and contractions.
The ‘Plug and Play’ installation is simply achieved by loading into position and connecting to the static pipework onboard the Offshore Rig, minimising production downtime.
